The company was founded in 1986 with its original name “Micromin Ltd”. The main activities involved the development of technical software (engineering applications), sales, installation, consulting and training with respect to computer systems and software.

 

1990 a Medical Technology branch was added, i.e. consulting, sales, installation and servicing of medical equipment. Exclusive distributorships with several companies around the world had been established in the main fields of Cardiovascular, Renal Care and Blood Technology. Said branch has now become the main business. New products for Anaesthesia, Cardiology and for other fields of surgery have been added. To emphasize this transformation, in 2001 the company has been renamed to MCM MEDSYS AG (=MiCroMin medical systems). The main objective of the company is now to supply the customer with high quality medical products and being able to provide an excellent “After Sale Service”.

 

 

 

Presently eight people are employed by MCM. Mr. Gregor Weidmann serves as mana­ging Director, Mr. Louis Weidmann as President of the Board.

 

 

 

The company is a stock corporation with a capital stock of CHF 320'000.00 represented by eight stockholders, most of which are employed by MCM.
